You may check the boxes next to the items you've completed (if any), and then print out and keep this checklist handy. As you continue completing items, simply check off the boxes on your printed copy.

Notice: Customers are advised to contact Washington Savings Bank by telephone or personally, at 200 South Banker Street, prior to starting any account closure at another institution and performing account openings at Washington Savings Bank.

Account Closing Letter

Use the form in the link below to notify your old financial institution that you are closing your account and would like to receive a check for any remaining balance.

Automatic Payment Transfer Letter

Use the letter in the link below to transfer your automatic payments from your old account to your new Washington Savings Bank account.

Simply enter your information in the fields and then print your letter. Remember, online BillPay is free, and allows you to decide the date and amount of payment withdrawn from your account, unlike automatic withdrawals.

Note: You will also need to complete an Automatic Payment Authorization form to send with this letter in order to provide the necessary information to your vendor to begin having your payments withdrawn from your new Washington Savings Bank Account.
