Chief Financial Officer
Washington Savings Bank, a growing, community-oriented financial institution with locations in Effingham and Mattoon, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer.
This position is responsible for the supervision of all accounting and finance responsibilities of the bank.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Supervise the preparation of monthly financial statements, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Supervise the accounting manager.
- Drive the bank’s short and long-term financial planning.
- Coordinate the bank’s internal audit function.
- Manage the bond portfolio totaling approximately $190 million in size.
- Provide financial analysis on the bank’s various product and service offerings.
- Work closely with the bank’s lending and retail staff, and establish loan and deposit pricing rates.
- Procure and manage the bank’s Property/Casualty and D&O insurance.
- Ensure that the bank has adequate cash flow to meet the company’s operations.
- Effective management of the bank’s interest rate risk.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience.
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills.

Retail Banker
