Qualifications: This position is for an experienced Loan Operations Clerk. We are looking for someone that can have an immediate impact on our loan operations process. An ideal candidate would have the following skills:
- 5+ Years of banking experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and allocate time efficiently.
- Able to effectively communicate with a team of processors.
Preferred Criteria
- Experience in commercial and consumer lending and/or loan documentation processes.
- Associate’s degree or higher education level.
- Experience with LaserPro and FiServ banking software.
- Experience leading a team in an office setting.
Duties of the Position: To prepare loan documentation (commercial, consumer and residential mortgage), accurate data entry, meeting timing and compliance requirements for documentation, document review and correction as needed, order ancillary loan documents as required (appraisals, title work, proof of insurance, payoffs, etc.), as well as other duties as assigned.

Customer Service Representative/Retail Banker | Mattoon, IL
Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Reports to: Retail Relationship Officer
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Classification: Full-time
This is a hybrid position, working both on the teller line and as a CSR when needed.
Overview:
The Customer Service Representative/Retail Banker position handles all aspects of customer service and is the customer’s primary point of contact.
Essential Functions:
- Process daily transactions for customers such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments
- Handle incoming customer calls
- Open new accounts
- Close accounts
- Identify customer needs
- Provide information about the bank’s products and services
- Issue debit cards, check orders
- Handle address changes
- Assist with online banking issues and other products and services
- Provide excellent customer service

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Outgoing, friendly disposition
- Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members
- Excellent cooperation and communication skills

We are currently looking for an outgoing, positive individual to supervise the Retail Staff at our Effingham (Banker Street) location. This full-time Supervisory Position is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day operations, including but not limited to managing the daily schedule, resolving errors, assisting with customer questions and issues, as well as coaching sales and service behaviors. This position is also responsible for providing overall quality customer service by ensuring the accurate processing of transactions in a professional and courteous manner in accordance with bank regulatory policy and procedure.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory experience in a retail environment
- Demonstrated use of computers.
- A positive approach to interactions with customers and team members.
