Loan Processor
We are looking for a Loan Processor who will work closely with customers, our lending department, and Loan Officers in the bank to carry out the loan processing needs. This candidate will assist in loan documentation production by working alongside bankers and support staff, and accurately documenting loans within compliance with loan policy, credit approvals, and regulatory laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to be performed directly or through subordinates include the following:
- Prep documents for Commercial, Consumer, and Real Estate loan requests following approval.
- Input loan information into a software program to prepare all loan documentation including initial disclosures, collateral forms, and closing statements.
- Ensure documents are produced and reviewed for accuracy in a timely and responsive manner.
- Follow compliance standards to ensure regulatory timelines are met.
- Communicate with and assist customers and internal staff with loan support inquiries professionally.
- Actively identify the needs of the businesses and the families in their communities by participating in community events and bank-sponsored activities.
- Ability to be organized, prioritize work assignments, and work independently.
- Order verifications, appraisals, title work, proof of insurance, payoffs, and other documents as needed.
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance.
- Must be a self-starter who is reliable and detail-oriented and has the ability to resolve issues.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- Associate degree preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of banking experience including knowledge of commercial and consumer lending and/or loan document processing preferred but not required.
- Strong keyboarding skills along with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Accurate typing, spelling, and grammar skills
