Washington Savings Bank Concludes Fourth Annual Pink Pumpkin Contest, Raises Funds for Breast Cancer Awareness
11/8/2024—Washington Savings Bank recently concluded its fourth annual Pink Pumpkin Contest, held in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Employees showcased their creativity by decorating pumpkins with unique designs that promoted breast cancer awareness, and community members were invited to vote for their favorites through donations. With the generosity of participants and a matching contribution from Washington Savings Bank, the event raised $1,250, resulting in a $750 donation to LeAnn’s Light in Effingham and $500 to the Sarah Bush Lincoln Mobile Mammography Unit in Mattoon. read more >>

10/10/24—Washington Savings Bank announces that Kim Weaver has joined its Residential Mortgage Lending Team as Vice President-Residential Mortgage Loan Officer. Weaver will be based at the Charleston Avenue Branch in Mattoon, bringing over 28 years of experience in the mortgage industry to her new role.
