We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager. This person is responsible for designing, developing and executing marketing campaigns and activities for the bank. The ideal candidate will assist in all areas of marketing, lead generation and marketing support. They will be comfortable in maintaining various marketing campaigns and have a creative skillset which enables them to brainstorm new initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain websites, newsletters, and email advertising.
- Manage social media campaigns.
- Design advertising materials to be used across media platforms, i.e. print, web, radio, video, etc.
- Contribute to marketing and creative brainstorming initiatives.
- Identify and propose internal/external ideas and initiatives to help promote general awareness of company brand.
- Facilitate community events and programs that the bank participates in.
- Market the bank to maintain a strong community presence.
- Manage the contributions and advertising budget.
- Respond to market research with new initiatives and advertising campaigns.
Qualifications:
- 1 -2 years’ experience in marketing/brand management preferred but not required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of all social networking platforms
- Proficiency in Adobe Design Products

Customer Service Representative/Retail Banker | Mattoon, Illinois
Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Reports to: Retail Relationship Officer
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Classification: Full-time
This is a hybrid position, working both on the teller line and as a CSR when needed.
Overview:
The Customer Service Representative/Retail Banker position handles all aspects of customer service and is the customer’s primary point of contact.
Essential Functions:
- Process daily transactions for customers such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments
- Handle incoming customer calls
- Open new accounts
- Close accounts
- Identify customer needs
- Provide information about the bank’s products and services
- Issue debit cards, check orders
- Handle address changes
- Assist with online banking issues and other products and services
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Outgoing, friendly disposition
- Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members
- Excellent cooperation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

We are currently looking for an outgoing, positive individual to supervise the Retail Staff at our Effingham (Banker Street) location. This full-time Supervisory Position is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day operations, including but not limited to managing the daily schedule, resolving errors, assisting with customer questions and issues, as well as coaching sales and service behaviors. This position is also responsible for providing overall quality customer service by ensuring the accurate processing of transactions in a professional and courteous manner in accordance with bank regulatory policy and procedure.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory experience in a retail environment
- Demonstrated use of computers.
- A positive approach to interactions with customers and team members.
- Reliable attendance.
- Good cooperation and communication skills.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes working weekends or extended hours as needed.
- Previous cash-handling experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
