Doedtman Joins Business Advisory Board
Washington Savings Bank President and CEO David Doedtman joins Eastern Illinois University’s Business Advisory Board.
Washington Savings Bank President and CEO David Doedtman was recently invited to serve on the Business Advisory Board for Eastern Illinois University School of Business for a three-year term beginning this fall.
The Eastern Illinois University School of Business Advisory Board serves in an advisory role to the Chair of the School of Business and as advocates of the School. The objectives of the Business Advisory Board are to provide an interface between the School and business community, offer advice and support to the Chair on a variety of issues related to the management and offerings of the School, and promote positive public relations for the School.
The School of Business currently offers six undergraduate majors: Accountancy, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing and Business Administration. Students can also choose between five minor programs to supplement their majors. The minor programs include Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Management Information Systems, Accountancy and Finance. MBA students can focus on their choice of four areas of concentration: Applied Management, Accountancy, Research and Geographic Information Systems. Currently, 1026 students are enrolled in undergraduate Business majors, 736 students pursuing minor degrees and 88 seeking their MBA.
“I am honored to be a member of the Business Advisory Committee,” remarks Doedtman. “The Board is comprised of a group of very accomplished EIU alumni. I look forward to networking with these Board members for the betterment of the Eastern Illinois University School of Business.”
In addition to serving on the EIU School of Business Advisory Board, Doedtman is also an appointed member of the Illinois Bankers Association Finance and Investment Committee.

Doedtman resides in Effingham, Illinois, with his wife, Ann, and three boys.
