The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago recently made available grant funds to each of its members to support affordable housing sustainability during the COVID-19 pandemic. Washington Savings Bank’s new “Give a Heart” Fundraiser was held February 1-14, 2020 to help raise Heart Health Awareness. Hearts were sold at each bank location for $1 each. 360 hearts were sold at the Effingham locations. The bank then matched the total number of hearts sold for a total of $720 raised to support the Andrew Gobczynski Big Heart Foundation.read more >>
